Release Description
[English]The 4th album by french producer KABUTOGANI is his most conceptual to date. Made entirely of mostly rhythmic glitch sounds (aka Clicks & Cuts), the album still has traces of melodies or tones - unlike many other minimal glitch productions. The cold, dry and noisy sound transports an almost morbid atmosphere. Experimental electronic music seldomly was so full of feelings - rather inconvenient ones, but feelings. This is what makes this album special.

Das vierte Album des französischen Produzenten KABUTOGANI ist sein konzeptionell und musikalisch ausgereiftestes. Obwohl ausschließlich auf meißt perkussiven Glitch-Sounds (auch Clicks & Cuts genannt) basierend, finden sich - anders als bei vielen anderen minimalistischen Glitch-Produktionen - in jedem Stück Spuren von Melodien oder Tonalität. Der kalte, trockene und rauschige Sound transportiert eine beinahe morbide Atmostphäre. Selten war experimentelle elektronische Musik so voller Gefühle - wenn auch eher Gefühle der unbequemeren Art.

Composé entièrement à partir de rythmiques Glitch (ou Clicks & Cuts), cet album contient malgré cela, des traces de melodies et de tonalités - contrairement à la plupart d'autres productions minimales Glitch. Le son froid, sec et bruyant nous transporte dons une atmosphère morbide et dépeint des visions d'un monde sombre contrôlé par les ordinateurs. La musique électronique expérimentale est si peu souvent pleine de sensations - même désagréables, que cela rend cet album si spécial.

El 4to álbum del productor francés KABUTOGANI es su trabajo más conceptual al día de la fecha. Hecho enteramente de sonidos glitch en su mayoría rítmicos (aka Clicks & Cuts), el álbum todavía tiene rastros de melodías o tonos - a diferencia de muchas otras producciones glitch minimalistas. El frío, seco y ruidoso sonido transporta una casi atmósfera morbosa. La música electrónica experimental raras veces estuvo tan llena de sentimientos - más que de desagradables. Esto es lo que hace a este álbum especial.

Artist Biography (Short)
KABUTOGANI (the japanese name for "Horseshoe Crab") is a one-man electronic music project.
His recordings show different steps on the same path:
- getting rid of some elements,
- incorporation of new ones.
The music gets more and more abstract, using dry digital glitches along with textures and embryonic melodies.
